Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Christian Collegiate Academy

Christian Collegiate Academy won against Lamar Christian last Monday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 53-36 win over the Columbia Academy Cougars. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs who have now won three contests in a row.

Christian Collegiate Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tahj Hill, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. Hill's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Collier, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Christian Collegiate Academy's record now sits at 5-6. As for Columbia Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Collegiate Academy will welcome Presbyterian Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Presbyterian Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Christian Collegiate Academy likes a good challenge. As for Columbia Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ben's Ford Christian at 7:00 p.m.
