Land O' Lakes has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Wesley Chapel has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. Having struggled with three losses in a row, Land O' Lakes turned things around against Sumner on Friday. They blew past the Stingrays 8-1.

Taliah Murria spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6.8 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Jaila Mitchell was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (four). Another player making a difference was Katelynne Jackson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Land O' Lakes was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, everything went Wesley Chapel's way against Pasco on Thursday as Wesley Chapel made off with a 14-3 win. The contest marked the Wildcats' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Wesley Chapel also let their pitcher toss all six innings played and she was also dialed-in: Jazmin Hill gave up three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits.
At the plate, Wesley Chapel got a massive performance out of Kendall McCants, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Madelyn Young was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Land O' Lakes' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Wesley Chapel, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Land O' Lakes' speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. Land O' Lakes has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Wesley Chapel, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Land O' Lakes continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Land O' Lakes' way against Wesley Chapel in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Land O' Lakes made off with an 11-1 victory. Will Land O' Lakes repeat their success, or does Wesley Chapel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
