It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pittsfield had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  77-31 victory over the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs. The Generals are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

Pittsfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kyana Summers, who  dropped  a double-double with ten  assists and 11  steals. Summers is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last 31 games she's  played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Harolyn Castillo, who  dropped  a double-double with 17 points and ten  boards.
 Pittsfield  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in 11 consecutive  contests.
Pittsfield's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Old Rochester Regional, they moved to 7-7 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Pittsfield nor Old Rochester Regional have any future games scheduled.
