That result was just more of the same for these two, as Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences had a senior duo take command as Jahangir Tareen dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds and Jared Dijamco scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Tareen has scored at least 25% of Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Sarieddine, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Triumph Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Central City Value at 5:30 p.m. on November 30th. Central City Value will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 510th, while Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences is ranked 111th). Triumph Charter will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st.
