It was a good run, but The Cooper Dragons unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 28-14 fall against Houston Christian. Another player making a difference was Anderson Jones, who picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Cooper will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Trinity Valley's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. As for Houston Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cistercian on Friday. Cistercian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 952nd, while Houston Christian is ranked 408th).
