David Salas posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 265 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 125 rushing yards.

Looking ahead, Salas and Kenedy will host Flatonia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Salas duked it out with the Bulldogs (back in October of 2024), the Lions came out on top by a score of 63-45.
