It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Balko Bison had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed by the Bulldogs on the road to the tune of 50-22. Balko has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.
Balko was led to victory by Estrella Martinez and Emelie Trentham. Martinez scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Trentham scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Martinez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Aspen Freeman, who scored nine points.
Balko has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Forgan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-18.
Balko does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Forgan also has no future games currently scheduled.
