The Chatham HomeSchool Thunder will head out to take on the Oak Forest Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chatham HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Oak Forest likes a good challenge.
Chatham HomeSchool took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They secured a 65-59 W over DASH.

Chatham HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Coletta out in front who went 7 for 12 on his way to 17 points along with six assists and four steals. Coletta is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. Parker Teague was another key player, going 9 of 12 en route to 18 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Forest). They breezed by Kerr-Vance Academy to the tune of 88-49 on Tuesday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.
Oak Forest's win came from a few key players Chatham HomeSchool will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jack Hunter, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 22 points in addition to five assists and five boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hampton Dixon, who went 8 of 9 en route to 21 points.
Oak Forest smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.
Chatham HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Oak Forest, their record now sits at 21-10.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Chatham HomeSchool and Oak Forest are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Chatham HomeSchool hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 64.5 points per game. However, it's not like Oak Forest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 61.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Chatham HomeSchool came up short against Oak Forest in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 72-67. Can Chatham HomeSchool avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
