Bethany Christian has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Hamilton Marines at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Bethany Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Bethany Christian didn't have too much trouble with Prairie Heights on the road as they won 47-33.
Bethany Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyson Chupp led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six assists and three steals. Chupp hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Miller, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Hamilton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Westview, falling 61-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hamilton has scored all season.
Bethany Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
Everything came up roses for Bethany Christian against Hamilton in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 66-26 win. With Bethany Christian ahead 39-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.
