Maple Valley came out on top against Reading on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Lions walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Rangers. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Maple Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Reading, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Maple Valley will venture away from home to take on Hudsonville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reading, they will welcome Stockbridge at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
