Colton Smith and John DelliSanti provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Amity Regional. The connection was good for 83 yards, the longest such play in Southern Connecticut Division I - West this season.
Shelton took down Hamden 32-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Mark Piccirillo threw for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 17 yards in the win.
Smith was a force in the backfield as Fairfield Prep defeated the Spartans.
Smith provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Jesuits beat Amity Regional. He completed 6 passes for 121 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 222 yards. Smith's key target this week was DelliSanti, who caught 2 passes for 85 yards.

Piccirillo put up the best numbers through the air as the Gaels bested the Green Dragons. Piccirillo's favorite target this week was Michael Pingree, who caught 5 passes for 141 yards.
Shelton's Piccirillo and Jason Thompson led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Piccirillo has thrown for 1,352 yards this season, while Thompson has 38 catches for 530 yards. Andrew Meoli from Xavier leads the league in rushing with 1,246 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between the Falcons and Jeff Roy's team. Xavier enters the contest ranked seventh in the state, while the Gaels ranks 16th.
Fairfield Prep led Southern Connecticut Division I - West in scoring this week by notching 46 points on Bert Mozealous' team. Smith ran for 222 yards during the win.
