Discovery's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bert Corona Charter Knights with a sharp 20-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four matches by 16 runs or more so far this season.

Discovery let Pamela Quiroz and Ambert Robert run wild. Quiroz scored three runs while getting on base in four of her seven plate appearances, while Robert scored three runs while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Blanco, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Discovery kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Discovery's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Bert Corona Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Discovery wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-13 loss against Hollywood on the 11th. Bert Corona Charter has also already played their next game (against Lakeview Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
