For the first time this season, Concord will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the NorthWood Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. NorthWood took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Concord, who comes in off a win.
Concord will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Manchester on Saturday. The Minutemen walked away with a 14-9 victory over the Squires. The Minutemen's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Concord got a massive performance out of Jordan Flores, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave Flores a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mark Herman, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Concord hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, NorthWood suffered their closest loss since May 18, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Niles by a score of 6-4.
Connor Reed and Mason Warren stepped up to the plate in a big way. Reed went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Warren went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
NorthWood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Concord, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Concord has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like NorthWood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Concord took their victory against NorthWood in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-5 score. Do the Minutemen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
