There's no place like home for the Bowen Boilermakers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They secured a 20-14 W over Air Force Academy on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bowen also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Bowen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was D'Mya Adams, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Adams is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kimora Myles, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The win got Bowen back to even at 6-6. As for Air Force Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Bowen will head out on the road to face off against Tilden at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Air Force Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Little Village at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Little Village: 21.6, Air Force Academy: 26.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
