The third road contest was the charm for the Aliceville Yellowjackets, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against Greensboro by a score of 36-26 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Aliceville also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Aliceville was led to victory by Lamark Richardson and Keanthony Wilder. Richardson scored seven points along with seven rebounds, while Wilder scored 16 points. The contest was Wilder's third in a row with at least ten points.
Aliceville's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Greensboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Aliceville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pickens County at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Greensboro will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marion at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
