The Lehman Catholic Cavaliers will head out on the road to square off against the Riverside Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lehman Catholic is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Lehman Catholic's game on Tuesday was all tied up 9-9 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 27-26 to Perry.
Meanwhile, Riverside scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They strolled past Troy Christian with points to spare, taking the game 59-42.
Riverside relied on the efforts of Emma Saylor, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Reaghan Mcdaniel, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcdaniel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Perk, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Lehman Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Riverside, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.
Lehman Catholic came up short against Riverside in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 38-27. Can Lehman Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
