They have had some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next contest, which is against Hilldale at 7:00 PM. Hilldale will be strutting in after a win while Central will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Central came up short against McLain Science & Tech two weeks ago, falling 8-20. This makes it the second loss in a row for Central.
Meanwhile, Hilldale didn't have too many spare points in their match with Oologah last week, but they still walked away with a 23-19 victory.
Central's defeat took them down to 0-2 while Hilldale's win pulled them up to 3-0. In their victory, Hilldale relied heavily on senior Dawson Neighbors, who rushed for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. Central will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
