Basketball Game Preview: Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers vs. Baker Bobcats

The Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Baker Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Noble Street College Prep has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.

Noble Street College Prep is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Francis W. Parker just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 24-23 to the Colonels.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Olivia Moore-Bozeman, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiffany Gaona, who had two points along with eight boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Baker duked it out withRauner on Tuesday. Baker came out on top against Rauner by a score of 32-22.

Baker's win came from a few key players Noble Street College Prep will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Destiny Davis, who put up ten points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Desire Davis, who posted ten points.

Baker's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Noble Street College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Noble Street College Prep and Baker were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but Noble Street College Prep came up empty-handed after a 36-35 defeat. Thankfully for Noble Street College Prep, Serenity Curry (who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
