They took their contest on the road on Monday with ease, bagging a 75-37 win over College Prep of America. The victory was familiar territory for Morton Grove Academy who now have six in a row.
Despite the loss, College Prep of America still got an impressive performance from Hamzah Shouman, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Shouman's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Amar Abdulhamid was another key contributor, scoring five points along with nine rebounds.
Morton Grove Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.6 points per game. As for College Prep of America, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Morton Grove Academy will head out on the road to face off against Islamic Foundation at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Islamic Foundation is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for College Prep of America, they will play host again and welcome Westminster Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
