Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Colonial Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Mooresville Christian racked up 13 assists.
It was another big night for Gresh Warren, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals for Mooresville Christian. Lucas Woods was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Colonial Christian dropped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mooresville Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Colonial Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against Community Baptist Christian at 6:30 p.m. Community Baptist Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55 points per game this season. As for Mooresville Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Traders Point Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mooresville Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Traders Point Christian likes a good challenge.
