Fans got a thrill when Hunter Hudson and Mason Myers connected against Perkins-Tryon. The longest such play in 3A District 2 this season, the connection resulted in 95 yards.
Chandler made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,815 from 4,375. The advance stemmed from a 56-26 victory over the Demons last week.
The Lions' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hudson threw for 281 and 4 touchdowns and Myers had 193 yards receiving. On the ground Heath Gray contributed 166 yards. Gray helped Chandler's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 95 yards.

Kyle Duke provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Bethany defeated Bristow. He completed 16 passes for 191 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 147 yards. Duke's key target this week was Brady Van Zant, who caught 3 passes for 75 yards.
The Bronchos are currently in third, while Cushing is in second.
Zack Smith's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Lloyd Wertman's team. Myers threw for 36 yards and 2 touchdowns, ran for 86 yards and caught 5 passes for 193 yards in the win.
