On Friday, The Beckman Patriots got themselves on the board against the Woodbridge Warriors, but the Woodbridge Warriors never followed suit. They blew past the Warriors 33-0 on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Beckman's 12-point performance the matchup before.
Austin Shepard looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while also throwing for 142 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Makhi Czaykowski, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Beckman's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Woodbridge, Portola, and Azusa. As for Woodbridge, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Beckman will head out on the road to face off against Capistrano Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Capistrano Valley Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Woodbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
