Make it seven blowout wins for the Bosco Tech Tigers this season. They blew past Verbum Dei Jesuit 76-55. The victory was nothing new for Bosco Tech as they're now sitting on four straight.
Bosco Tech's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Osborne, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Jaden Erami was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Verbum Dei Jesuit's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Harper Whitman, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds, and Ryan Figueroa who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Reese Whitman, who scored 12 points.
Bosco Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bosco Tech will take on Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 759th, while Bosco Tech is ranked 149th).
