Colusa and Durham are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Colusa RedHawks will head out on the road to take on the Durham Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Colusa comes in on 14 and Durham on six.
In what's become a running theme this season, Colusa gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They really took it to Paradise for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-28 win on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-19.
It was another big night for Seth Kalisuch, who scored 18 points along with six assists and two steals. Luke Kalfsbeek was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Durham strolled past Winters with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 53-38.
Colusa's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Durham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.
Colusa beat Durham 47-40 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Colusa since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
