South is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Mansfield Senior is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The South Bulldogs will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Mansfield Senior Tygers at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. South has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 394 points over their last six matches.
Last Tuesday, South didn't have too much trouble with Marion-Franklin on the road as they won 61-44. Given South's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Marion-Franklin is ranked 417th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
