Kingwood Christian fell to Pickens Academy 0-60 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Kingwood Christian took their game against Pickens Academy on Friday by a conclusive 34-0 score. Kingwood Christian was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Kingwood Christian a 1-0 record and starting Pickens Academy off at 0-1.
Next week, Kingwood Christian take on Evangel Christian at 7:00 PM. As for Pickens Academy, they will face of against Coosa Valley Academy. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
