The Bismarck Indians won the last time they faced the Viburnum Blue Jays, and things went their way on Thursday too. Bismarck claimed a resounding 66-26 victory over Viburnum on the road. With Bismarck ahead 43-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bismarck to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daven Miller, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Miller has scored at least 25% of Bismarck's points. Garrett Mork was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Bismarck's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Viburnum, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bismarck won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Meadow Heights at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Viburnum will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eagle Ridge Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
