On Tuesday, Sheridan Hills Christian humbled Edison Private with a 69-35 victory. With Sheridan Hills Christian ahead 46-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Sheridan Hills Christian can attribute much of their success to Elias Feliz, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Feliz's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Colon, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lake Worth Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 64-33 win over Sports Leadership & Management.
Sheridan Hills Christian's win lifted them to 3-0 while Edison Private's loss dropped them down to 0-5.
Sheridan Hills Christian suffered a grim 70-45 defeat to Lake Worth Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Sheridan Hills Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
