Hayden Younger posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has become a key player for Rogers: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-11 otherwise.
