The Sierra Foothill League in the Sac-Joaquin Section has always been one of the
toughest leagues in the state.
Now with the addition of Folsom and Oak Ridge, it becomes one of the toughest leagues in the country.
The SFL now compares to the Trinity League in the Southern Section, which
MaxPreps ranked as the No. 2 toughest league in the country in 2013.
