It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-15, which was the final score in Capital Christian's's tilt against San Marin on Friday. While losing is never fun, Capital Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 568th, while San Marin is ranked 86th).
Dominic Ingrassia was his usual excellent self, throwing for 232 yards and six touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Blake Hart also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Capital Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for San Marin, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Capital Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. San Marin will head out on the road to face off against Marin Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
