St. James has gone a perfect 10-0 against Conway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Sharks will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Conway will take on a team with plenty of momentum: St. James extended their winning streak to 13 on Friday. The Sharks' pitcher stepped up to hand Carolina Forest an 8-0 shutout.
The team relied heavily on Raegan Tibbitts, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Callie Centracchio was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Conway got the win against Myrtle Beach on Friday by a conclusive 18-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Seahawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Olivia Drew made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cayden Black was incredible, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addison Fogle, who went 1-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Conway kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in three consecutive games.
Conway now has a winning record of 6-5. As for St. James, their record now sits at 13-0.
St. James got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Conway by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
