Mercedes has gone a perfect 10-0 against Pace recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Mercedes is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
If Mercedes beats Pace with six runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Tigers had just enough and edged out Lopez 6-5.

Abigail Trevi?o spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 11 hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ashley De Leon was excellent, going 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Rhianna Sierra, who scored a run while going 3-for-5.
De Leon wasn't the only one making solid contact: Mercedes kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pace beat Rivera 6-3 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.
Pace also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Luna Juarez gave up only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sofia Alejandro, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Victoria Vasquez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
Mercedes' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Pace, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mercedes hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .366. However, it's not like Pace struggles in that department as they've averaged .336. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Mercedes' way against Pace in their previous matchup back in March, as Mercedes made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
