St. John lost a heartbreaker the last time they played St. Michael, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Eagles' pitchers stepped up to hand the Warriors a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

The win (which was St. John's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for St. Michael, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

St. John wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 win against University Lab on the 7th. As for St. Michael, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Glenbrook on the 7th.
