Galva's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They secured a 36-30 W over the Biggsville West Central Heat. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 73-25 victory back in December of 2025.

Several Heat players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evelyn Goebel, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Lia Klossing, who scored 11 points.

Galva's win bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Biggsville West Central, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-23.

Looking ahead, Galva will head out on the road to challenge Polo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Marcos will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Biggsville West Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 42-34 defeat against Monmouth United on the 11th.
