Jordan is 8-2 against Northern Durham since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Jordan Falcons will be playing at home against the Northern Durham Knights at 8:00 p.m. Jordan will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Jordan came up short against East Chapel Hill and fell 53-43. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jordan has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Derek Ross jr, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Johnson, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Northern Durham's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They took a 62-45 bruising from Hillside. While losing is never fun, Northern Durham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Hillside is ranked 107th).
Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Northern Durham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Jordan took their win against Northern Durham when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 73-51. Does Jordan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northern Durham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
