Wayland took their matchup against Lynnfield on Friday by a conclusive 28-7 score. Lynnfield can consider this payback for the 26-28 loss they dealt Wayland the last time the teams encountered one another.
The win got Wayland back to even at 1-1. The defeat dropped Lynnfield's record to 0-2.
Wayland will stay at home next week against Boston Latin at 7:00 PM. As for Lynnfield, they will face off against Amesbury.
