The Hot Springs County Bobcats were the 43-40 winner over the Worland Warriors when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Hot Springs County fell to Worland 50-44. Hot Springs County just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Hot Springs County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hanna Hill, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayssie Owsley, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Hot Springs County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Worland, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-10.
Hot Springs County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lovell at 4:30 p.m. on January 26th. As for Worland, they will head out on the road to challenge Sheridan at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
