The Legacy Charter Eagles will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Father Lopez Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Legacy Charter posted their biggest win since December 1, 2023 on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 58-31 win over Trinity Prep. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Legacy Charter had established a 25 point advantage.
Legacy Charter found their leader in underclassman Khori Polarchy, who scored 19 points along with four steals. Maven Marrero was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, Father Lopez had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They skirted past Spruce Creek 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Father Lopez has posted since December 5, 2023.
Legacy Charter's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Father Lopez, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Legacy Charter might still be hurting after the 75-50 defeat they got from Father Lopez when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Will Legacy Charter have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
