Trinity Hall stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 67-34 win over Manchester Township. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-12.
Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Devyn Quigley, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That was a full 41.2% of Manchester Township's points, marking the 19th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jade Andrews, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Trinity Hall pushed their record up to 13-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Manchester Township, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Hall and the Patriots will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Freehold Township will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the are ranked 27th). As for Manchester Township, they will head out on the road to square off against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
