Luke Alligood posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Alligood's effort led Pungo Christian Academy over Northeast Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders are a perfect 10-0 against the Eagles going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
