Bradley Breland Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Kiefer was led to victory by Bradley Breland, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Breland rushed for 278 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. On Thursday, Bethel had to settle for second even though Ezra Powis put up the best numbers he has all season. Powis rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 74 yards.
This year, Powis has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 68.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 16.83 rushing yards per game.
