Firebaugh is 1-9 against Dos Palos since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Broncos at 5:30 p.m.

Dos Palos won the last time they faced Tranquillity and Kodi Gonzales did her part to make sure it happened again. The Broncos blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Gonzales, who had 23 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Dos Palos never let Tranquillity on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16, 25-18.
Dos Palos' win came from a few key players Firebaugh will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Yareli Ibarra, who had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last two matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Portillo, who had 17 assists and three aces.
Dos Palos was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in nine consecutive matches.
Dos Palos' win bumped their record up to 12-15-1. As for Firebaugh, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.
