The Tipton Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 65-61 W over Delta. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Nolan Swan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with 6 rebounds. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Money, who scored 13 points.
Tipton's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Tipton will be home for the holidays to greet Covenant Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Delta and Jay County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Jay County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Delta is ranked 23rd).
