The Natick Redhawks are taking a road trip to  square off against the Milton Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Natick's defense has only allowed 8.1  points per game  this season, so Milton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
On Friday, Natick got the win against Wellesley  by a conclusive  28-8. The result was nothing new for the Redhawks, who have now won six games by 20  points or more  so far this season.
 James Mortarelli was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 260 yards and three  scores on only 14 carries. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 91-yard run. Natick also got a significant boost from  Jack Showstead, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Natick was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 443  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  since  the start of last season.

 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Natick's defense and their three sacks. In that department,  Mortarelli was the leader with two. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 105.4  rushing yards per game.
 Meanwhile, Milton won against Wachusett Regional  on October 10th with 35  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  last Friday. The Wildcats took down Walpole 35-20. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wildcats.
 Natick's record is now 6-1. As for Milton, their record now sits at an identical 6-1.
 Natick beat Milton 31-21  in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redhawks since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
