New Milford was handed a 27-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Waldwick on Wednesday. New Milford skirted past Waldwick 62-60. The victory was just what New Milford needed coming off of a 67-40 defeat in their prior game.
Ridgefield Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for New Milford, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Ridgefield Park and New Milford were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but Ridgefield Park came up empty-handed after a 52-51 defeat. Can Ridgefield Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
