The Banning Lewis Academy Stallions scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Monday. They claimed a resounding  80-46 win over Fountain Valley at home. Banning Lewis Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four  contests by 26  points or more this season.
 Banning Lewis Academy got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Joseph Bjegovich out in front who  scored eight points along with six  assists and five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kobe Welch, who  scored 19 points.
 Banning Lewis Academy pushed their record up to 10-3 with that  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Fountain Valley,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banning Lewis Academy won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Ellicott at 7:30  p.m.  on January 23rd. Ellicott comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Fountain Valley, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Dolores Huerta Prep at 8:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
