The Arlington Admirals will head out to challenge the White Plains Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Arlington sitting on four straight wins and White Plains on 13.
Arlington's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Sunday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Mamaroneck.

The result came thanks to Sam Harris's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Julieanna Lopez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Chloe Adel also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Arlington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mamaroneck only posted a batting average of .045.
Meanwhile, White Plains sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Eastchester last Sunday.
Alexis Tighe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, White Plains' victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Noelle Quinones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. That's the most hits Quinones has posted since back in April.
White Plains' win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Arlington, their record now sits at 12-8.
Arlington came up short against White Plains when the teams last played back in April, falling 15-12. Can the Admirals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
