Anthony Oberg was nothing short of spectacular: he posted 21 points and six rebounds. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high. Chase Hartman was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.
Meanwhile, Syracuse entered their tilt with Plattsmouth on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They enjoyed a cozy 58-42 win over the Blue Devils. The game was the first time the Rockets have beaten the Blue Devils on their court since February 10, 2018.
Syracuse found their leader in sophomore Jake Janssen, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 16 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Schroeder, who had eight points.
Syracuse was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Plattsmouth only racked up eight.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's record is now 10-5. As for Syracuse, their record now sits at 11-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Syracuse struggles in that department as they've been averaging 22.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
