Marshfield had lost six straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 6-11 to make it seven. They lost  18-12 to the Marist Spartans.  For Marist's part,  Finley Schweigert was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with four  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double. Those  four  hits gave  Schweigert a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Tizita Martin, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Marshfield has  already played their next  game (against Powers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Marist will be paying especially close attention to the Pirates'  contest: after the Pirates face off against the Cruisers, they'll take on Marist again  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday.
